This is a serious question:
Is their any person or group that is okay to advocate killing, that someone could post on ar15.com?" Only asking because I am trying my best to figure out the COC. "Posting comments or links in support of illegal activities including, but not limited to, threats against the life of any living person, doing harm to a state or federal official, or advocating the overthrow of the government." So is posting that someone like (and I am not saying this to advocate it) say Bin Laden needs a bullet in his brain. Would that not be against COC? What about the overthrow of the Iraqi government, would that be against COC. I really, really want to follow the rules, but am confused. |

I would say that if you have to ask, then you already know the answer. But then again, I am not a mod or site staff or one of the Avila's. But I am ok with what you want to do What I want to do. Hopefully you mean that it is ok with you that I get clarity on this question. I posted some examples for guidance in what I am confused about. |

The key word is illegal.
It is not illegal to hunt down Bin Laden and put a bullet into his brain. It may or may not be illegal to do the other things depends on who the latest bogeyman is. Some day it might not be illegal to hunt down Ann Coulter or Rush Limbaugh, or even Ron Paul and do the same to them. Things like hope and change have a way of causing the above. |

You're just itching to get banned toady, aren't you? Nope, I just want to really get a clear understanding of the rules. As the internet is world wide and anyone, not just American citizens can be on this site. Say someone that is not a citizen of America stated they want the government overthrown, would it still be a COC violation, since it is not the U.S. government? |

I'm sure assassinating him and overthrowing the NK government would be illegal even with all the shit they've pulled so far. |

BTW, saying nastiness toward Osama bin Laden is strictly OFF LIMITS.
Did you not hear odumbo in Cairo? We're all cool now, prisoners are being released, and all is forgiven. Maybe OBL and BHO can smoke some weed and try to get laid together. It's a new world order, and it applies to the CoC as well. |
