In the office I work at we get random faxes for all kinds of crap but we do get a lot of packaged vacation deal offers that sound pretty good. The one we got today is for 5 nights all-inclusive in Cancun or Mayan Riviera + 3 days in Orlando, meals and airfare included for $299 a person...   Could this be a legitimate good deal or am I asking for a serious ass-raping on fees and hidden charges???

There will be additional costs, but a package can be a good way to go. Did a week in Puerto Vallarta and got hotel + food + airfare for a great price. Stay at the Barcelo hotels if you can. GREAT service, less BS.

many of those deals are hard-sell timeshare offers.

I would probably be leery of anything that arrived via unsolicited fax. Most of the airlines do vacation packages that you don't have to worry are a scam. You can also save a lot of money by just shifting your vacations around. I saved almost $1000 on a Vegas trip just by going a week earlier.
