Obama is speaking right now.  I thought that maybe we would like to remember what a real president said 25 years ago today.

Every day is a good day to thank a WWII vet, but it is even more so today.

We are losing more of them every day.  my dad had orders to England but he ended up in the hospital.  Before he that he spent his time off the Atlantic coast looking for German subs on a merchant marine ship.  after the war he swept mines off the coast of japan where he toured both a bomb sites.  He died in 1997 of brain cancer.  If you have the chance shake the hand of a ww2 vet you may never have the chance to do so again

I work for the med side of the VA. I said " thankyou " 3 times yesterday. I don't see as many WWII vets as I use to.
