| Tonite i took a leap and got a 42" Vizio flat panel TV and got it home and the volume and channel controls are crazy. IE you press the Vol. Up or down button it maxes out and press the CH up or down it keeps changing the channel. anyone got any solution before i take this damn thing back?? |

Unplug it. Take it back. I had a car radio do the exact same thing. My car burst into flames while I was in blockbuster renting a movie right after we all laughed at my funny problem. Not trying to be a jerk or smart off. But what you described is not within the normal operating parameters of any TV. No matter what white man's voodoo you did to the remote, it would no effect the volume reversing itself in the TV. I hate to be "that guy" but just take it back. EDIT: Of course, after sleeping on it, you will probably notice your kids or someone was sitting on the old remote and it was messing with your new tv.  |
