I no longer have any interest in arguing. It's like talking to a fucking wall. Actually, no. A wall is fucking useful. FUCK! ASS! |

I was listening to a couple of Obama voters at work today. They were talking about the ICBM the Norks are preparing and asking why they were threatening to nuke us.
One of them said 'I don't get it. Why are they doing this when Obama is President?' I laughed really hard and said 'They're not doing this despite Obama being President, they are doing this BECUASE Obama is President and he won't do anything about it.' |

They're characatures of themselves. |

Reactionary retards who have no idea what is going on in the world or why people or nations do the things they do. Yup, sounds like Obama supporters. |

George Bush as President: He's evil and he's making enemies out of the US. He snubs our allies. He's both stupid and an evil Bond villain who planned 9/11 Lefty thinking.... Now when Obama is President and he snubs our allies, proves himself to be either stupid or evil, makes the US weaker and basically is the model for everything they said George Bush was, they don't see it. They don't even have a clue that their President is EVERYTHING they claimed George Bush was. I'm not a huge fan of Bush, but the irony is just too thick. |

I sort of came to the same conclusion after an argument with a friend's girlfriend about capitalism.. I presented the standard reasons.. she replied with the standard "everyone deserves this and this and this and the rich should pay for it".. we went back and forth, and she finally concluded that She "would have no problem if I were killed because I have no compassion for other human beings" and that I probably have a little dick and that people like me are what's wrong with America. I should have known better than to argue with some chick that sports a "viva la revolucion" tattoo on her arm. |

I had my nineteenth million, and final, discussion about how 9/11 is an inside job, because loose change says so. That and a bunch of other liberal crap that makes my head spin. The lack of common sense is amazing. Fuck fact checking, it's a video on the internet, it MUST be true. |
|
As I've stated in other "dealing with a liberal" threads - conservatives typically deal in logic, liberals in feelings. Notice how when arguing for gun control they fall back on "If it only saves one life" - while ignoring the hundreds (if not thousands) of other lives that might be lost, as well as the statistical data. Likewise with BHO - whenever questioned on a "hard" point, they'd often as not cry "RACIST!!!" to sidetrack any logical query. |
|
Current argument on the Roanoke Times website:
As far as gay marriage, Libs hate the law and it's OK to scream, bitch, and protest till it's changed in their favor. And to all the people who are against gay marriage, once the law is changed and it becomes legal, just shut up and live with it.

This is what amazes me. They really DON'T have any real values of their own. If they had values, they could easily keep from making contradictory statements like that. They have no basis for their political beliefs, so they listen to others. I think this is the main problem... they really haven't formed any opinions, so they go with what makes them feel good without actually having to read, learn, and consider it for themselves. It's easier to feel than it is to reason. They are mentally lazy. |

I no longer have any interest in arguing. It's like talking to a fucking wall. Actually, no. A wall is fucking useful. FUCK! ASS! It is generally a waste of time trying to use common sense to combat non-sense. FlawlessCowboy, I don't know how you can use that Avatar. I mean...even though... turns my stomach...never mind! |
| Just goof on them, like quote both Clintons, Al Gore, Allbright, Pelosi on Saddam Hussein's possession of weapons of mass destruction and the need for regime change in Iraq, and they will think it was Bush and Cheney. Quote Kennedy and Johnson on Vietnam, and they will think it was Nixon. They often lack the curiosity to research things on their own, so in their minds, if they disagree with a statement, it had to have been made by a Republican! |
|
Well they do fall into the lower echelon of society. Like the libtard I was making fun of the other day for not needing a firearm. He said: "Well, I'll just tell them to take what they want and not hurt me".
Now how can you argue with an idiot like that? You can't! |

But with all due respect - stop wasting time that could be better spent elsewhere. I don't know how many god **** times I read threads like this where people argue with the criminally stupid. If you, me, and the other people on this board spent time mobilizing and organizing the average person who DOES have a clue, but is just not politically active or doesn't know what to do, then we would be making progress. Instead of arguing with dumb hopeless bitches - get a goal like "encourage one friend per month who has common sense to write a letter to their congressman or letter to the editor" on some important topic. Just my $.02. |

so, what do you think about President Barack Obama's birth certificate. Logic, emotions, well? All logic and no emotion. I was born in 1954, and mine shows the name of the hospital, signed by the obstetrician. Has my mother's name, and where she was born. Has my father's name, where he was was born, occupation, and place of employment. Has my parent's address down to the apartment number. What Obama provided has no information that can be corroborated. |

Liberal logic? That's an oxymoron. Two words that DON'T go together. Liberals are about feelings and emotions. NOT logic, reason, and common sense. The reason arguing with liberals is so frustrating is that it's hard to convince someone with logic when they don't UNDERSTAND logic. It's a foreign language to them. One they don't know and probably never will. Show me a liberal who uses logic, reason, and common sense, and I'll show you a conservative who just doesn't know what to call himself. CJ |

I have noticed a pattern with the liberals, esp lately. They will yap about something, useing the most contorted logic, then when you present facts they blurt out some other issue that concerns them and a democrat talking point, does not have to be factual. Then they get a smug look on their face like they are so smart that we just can't understand them.
One coworker wants the socialized health care, ill husband supposably gets poor health care. Works where I do, has the same insureance. When obamalamadingdong said that tough choices were going to have to be made, regardeing rationing the care for the elderly, she exclaimed how obviously right that is, how old people were a waste of health care dollars. She is pushing 70, husband over that and yes, she still takes him to the hospital for his many complications of illness. Other liberal neighbor says it's GB's fault we dont' have cars that get good gas milage. I point out that GB did not put a gun to his head and make him purchase 2 large SUV's, a truck and a boat. Said the city should pay for recycling, he does not want to soil his truck with the dirty cans. When I recently brought up the black panther charges being dropped he claims to not have heard about that. I mention he probably won't if he gets his news out of the paper. His blurt was "that paper is run by republicans" which isn't true, and has nothing to do with anything. He is someone that blabs about fox being biased. Anyone that critizes the dems is biased. I could go on and on but there is not sense interacting with these people. They have their minds made up and dont' want to be confused with facts. If you do offer some facts for any liberal issue they are yapping about they make a matter-of-fact statement to resolve the matter in their little pea brains and it can be something illogical and impossible, it doesn't matter to them. All that matters is they have what they consider a snappy comeback and that they say it with much conviction. A reply "wagonwheels, peanut butter don't fly" would make sense uttered from one liberal to another. Their logic is broken. |

The State HAD to require an address that could be verified, otherwise Barack Jr. could have been a ward of the state. What was it? That information isn't required for proving that he's a citizen, just the information that Hawaii discloses on an ordinary certificate of live birth, which is tailored specially to meet the narrowest requirements of the United States. Hawaii has no reason to divulge his parents address when he was born, it is sufficient for them to guarantee that he was born in Hawaii, since birthright citizenship is obtained regardless of where in the US you're born. They've certified the fact that the records they hold indicate he was born in Honolulu, which is sufficient according to the US government to demonstrate citizenship by birth. If you think Hawaii certifies falsehoods on its officially certified birth records, it's something you need to take up with Hawaii. I get the distinct impression that if it were true, some of those millions and millions of dollars spent by experienced experts desperately trying to find some magic bullet to beat Obama would have uncovered it. |

Beats the hell out of me; I just know Obama's predecessor was born at the Yale University Hospital, and had a "C" average as a student at Yale. Barack Hussein Obama aka "Barry Soetoro" might have been born in the back seat of a VW beetle, and had a "D" average at Columbia University, for all we know. There is always a big deal made out of where American Presidents are born, and where they went to school. It looks like the revisionism precededed here to a extreme degree. |

| I don't think they think things through most of the time. They won't know anything about a particular topic, but they'll argue about it anyway. When they start losing the argument, they resort to name calling. It's a waste of time to try to convince them that their ideas are wrong. |
