what the fuck are you talking about? The New Phone/ Gadget from Palm, available this weekend June6th is it on Verizon? I do like Palm better than my former blackberry. ETA: nevermind, it's on Sprint - the shitest network on earth it will be on verizon in 2010. sprint only has exclusivity for 6 months. Check out palm's stock prices since people started getting ahold of the pre and since att and verizion announced they will be carrying it in 2010. It is a cool looking phone and I hope it does well. Palm hired away one of the original brains behind the iphone and it seems to show. |

Pretty in depth review here.... http://www.boygeniusreport.com/2009/05/29/palm-pre-review/ |

Will make or break Palm It will break them. My Treo 750 sucks ass, and the only reason I haven't ditched it is because my work issued me a Curve, so the Treo sits idle. From what I have read, the PRE doesn't do anything particularly well, so offers no big advantages over the newer BB's or iPhones...... Goodbye Palm, I loved my Handspring, but your days are numbered....... |

| The problem is Sprint will require people to upgrade their plans to purchase the phone if you have a SERO plan or similar... You'll be required to upgrade to a Everything Data Plan or Simply Everything Plan or Everything Plus Plan... I'm not upgrading because of it, no way I want to loose my current plan. I currently have an 800w and was looking forward to the pre... |

i had the treo 600 for sprint...nice at the time, better than any phone made IMHO, during that period. i had the treo 650 for cingular...still nice and a lot more hackable as a phone, user interface improved a lot i had the treo 750 for cingular/at&t...hunk of shit, terrible signal strength, windows mobile 6 (M$ on a palm phone I have a Apple iPhone 3G 16gB that I jailbroke.....it's a thing of beauty |

i've been seeing the youporn vids and i'm not impressed - it's just another touchscreen like all others, reminds me of the HTC one that VZW sells, kinda lame looking - they needed to make it distincitve looking and unique like the Treos. there are WAY TOO many touchscreens with slide out keyboards already. |

I currently have an 800w and was looking forward to the pre... I debated with myself over this. $30/mo for SERO with 500 minutes and unlimited everything else is a fantastic deal. However, with the Everything Plus plan, it's $60/mo for the same. Still not bad. I spoke to a Sprint Rep. (Who was extremely helpful! Basically, when you go to Best Buy, you have them call Sprint (which could get interesting, but we'll see). Because the Everything Plus plan is still an "employee" plan, all they do is increase the price, and you should be set. READ THIS That was posted by the Vice President of Sprint |

Are there any that slide out vertically like the pre? it's that blue one that VZW sells, it runs on windows - i had one last year and hated it - made by HTC and it was full of bugs, what a POS! |

READ THIS That was posted by the Vice President of Sprint It's not worth it (at least to me) to pay twice as much for the same plan just so I can use the Pre. The only reason I'm still with Sprint is for their reasonably priced SERO plan. If I loose it, I'm switching networks... |
