I have been very happy when wamu was wamu.now that its Chase I have to get used to it .Today I went into one and it was completely new system. I am really thinking of moving my money somewhere else.

Chase bank flagged my account for confirmed fraud and completely closed my account without so much as a phone call (after 9+ years of being a loyal customer). This was due to me depositing checks from a brokerage account in my name, into an ATM, and not knowing the checks (2) were no longer valid. My branch manager blamed me, saying "depositing old checks into an ATM does not result in closed accounts" and created barriers so high that she hoped I would give up and just walk away. It took a friendly branch manager out here in Ellensburg, and a call to the regional manager to resolve the situation. Also, keep in mind, national banks do not have to follow state laws, I completely disagree with that assertion.. |

Chase sucks.
I never banked with them, but had a CC with them for over 9 years...5.9% APR...never was late on a payment. As soon as this bailout BS went down, they sent me a letter plainly stating that since their accounts weren't as profitable as prior years now, they were changing my 5.9% APR to PRIME + 5.9%. I called and bitched them out for taking bailout money from people like me, and then screwing me over even more with this APR hike, then told them to close my account. Not like they care, but it was fun to call them out on it. |
They took over my WaMu card and gave me a nice 18.25% APR.  I just received a letter a few days ago informing me it is going up to 24.something% for no reason. I only have $200 on there I'll pay off and it will only get my FIOS internet monthly charge so I can pay it off every month. I'll just use their card to benefit my credit score. Fuck 'em.

| Had CHase before but they were complete assholes! Kept my payments longer than necessary, never called me on fraud on 3 separate occasions, and never issued a new card when min expired! So I switched over to WaMu and now that they are owned by Chase, I've gone over to Compass! F@ck Chase! |
