My job is at a local Crocs shoes store and I was wondering what you, the mob mind of General Chat, think about the shoes.
Personally, I think that the shoes are ugly as sin itself but I will say that they are the most comfortable shoes that I have ever put on my feet. (I don't know how to put in a poll sorry) |

Comfortable, but lead to low back issues, knee issues. They are also prone to catching or falling off. Causing slips and fall accidents.
The hospital I work for is debating a ban on all croc type shoes. Due to the increase of falls related to the shoes. A few years back, my wife bought me a pair for work. Since goobers wash off easily. But after 12 hours on my feet, they sucked. |
I have a pair that I use while boating...they are comfortable as hell and you can wear them in the water. Now where did I leave my white wine spritzer....

link Ok so the other day i posted about a guy buying a gun wearing pink crocs...
The reason he wanted a gun was because a former employee stole from them and then he was fired. The employee then said they would hurt his family, throw acid in his wife face etc So he wanted to buy a gun for protection. No CCW so he has a 3 day wait. His Glock is still sitting on my shelf. Yesterday two guys approached him in the drive way in the AM and pointed a gun at him and told him to go back inside the house. His wife was inside so he wasn't going to do it. he jumped the guy with the gun and disarmed him and shot him. Killed the guy right there. The other guy took off. pink shoe badass We are talking to the ATF to see if he can circumvent the 3day wait because there are still several brothers of the family left who will most likely not be happy with him killing one. |
| I got a pair at the beginning of the Spring semester for my clinical rotations. They felt great sitting down, but standing or walking for long periods made them unbearable. I now wear regular white sneakers. I had bought the crocs for two reasons, the advertised comfort and the ability to be sterilized. I never had to sterilize them and they weren't comfortable. |

I have riled against them since they were first invented. They're ugly as hell and the people that own 50 pair in 50 different colors to match their outfit deserve a punch in the balls. But I can see where they'd be handy as something to slip on and take out the trash or run to the car.
Mark my words though, the day I see a man dressed in a suit and Crocs is his last day on Earth. There has to be a line in the sand! |
