First dinner pic, I'll go easy on you.
First things first, the beer, did you drink it? We can't tell from this picture. Unopened alcohol doesn't count for much around here. Maybe you were saving it for a special occasion, or maybe you knew that your first dinner pic would be critiqued harshly and you wanted to drown your sorrows after you read all of this crap. The food looks good, chicken and corn and cornbread and...somethings missing here. See that big empty spot in the middle of the plate, it needs to be filled. We want to see man sized portions here. Maybe this is your wife's plate? At least tell me that you went back for more. The guns look good and are placed properly whether you're left handed or right handed, hard to pull that one off. Your AR isn't finished and you spent money on food?! Where are your priorities man? Ramen noodles until the AR is built, after that then you can eat all the fancy food you want. What if dinner goes beyond a polite little pistol fight? One of your spare mags in touching your plate, not the cleanliest way to eat. Also I would have had the mags behind the guns to make pistol presentation easier, now you have to reach over your spare mag to grab your gun with your greasy, BBQ sauce covered hands, not the smartest thing to do. And that brings us to... The napkin, where is it? You could have wiped your hands off before presenting the gun on target, but not without a napkin. Now you pull your gun, place it on target only to have it slip out of your hands like a wet bar of soap and the bad guy kills you. All because you didn't use a napkin. Now do you see the importance of having a napkin at dinner? You are brave, I'll give you that. The tactical knife, I don't see it. Let's play out our last scenario a bit further shall we? You've just dropped your gun because of your greasy hands, the bad guy is still advancing, you and your food are vulnerable, you reach for your tactical knife and....and get killed because you didn't plan far enough ahead. This is probably where we loose most arfcommers. Dinner turns into a battle, they thought they had it covered but it goes too long, it gets to the stabbing part of dinner (usually just before desert) and they realize their mistake and the bad guy wins. Also it is memorial day, where is the flag? Your picture actually look good and are in focus. Your picture composure wasn't as good as it could have been. All in all I am going with 5/10, you are far to reckless with your life to be eating alone. |

Quoted:
9/10 for not having a tactical beverage entry tool to get into that brew Havent ordered anything from LaRue yet ... will be sure to include the Dillo in future pics. I'm sure he will be hungry. Quoted:
FAIL! No bucket-O-butter slathered on the cornbread and your corn isn't swimming in a bowl of butter either. Don't put butter on anything, except on the rare occasion I have popcorn. I'm working on losing some weight, so smaller portions, less crap generally. Dinner is my weak spot, especially with spring here and a grill. |
