I currently have a Surefire G2 with incandescent bulb. I seem to recall a year or so ago someone posted a website where you could buy a conversion kit to make this light rechargeable and with and LED bulb. Does anyone remember where this was?

I know you can get them off of surefires website, but you could probably just google "Surefire LED conversion kits" and shop around and find a better deal. I put a P60L in my G2 to up the lumens to 80 and the run time to 12 hours.

Lots of options for LED conversion.

converting to rechargable is tougher.

I'm using 4.7 volt pila rechargables with a P60L

Surefire wants $97 for a full conversion kit to rechargeable batteries. That is freakin' ridiculous. Anything cheaper or a different company I can try?

ummm, yes, "the balls"

I have several malkoff's and have to say that I trust my life to them on a couple different levels.

Call Gene if you have any questions.

im gonna have to keep this in mind because the short run times and non rechargable were the main factors keeping me from another e2d (first was for my gf)
