How can these people not be considered pirates? They board ships on the open sea, harass other ships doing things that jeopardize the lives of people on both vessels. I just watched a show where they confronted another ship out at sea because they felt it was suspicious. What the heck, why don't these large ships just run over these little inflatables?
Butch of damn smelly hippies! |

I thought he was talking about parts of clothing.
Or possibly left out a letter. I have swales in my yard, maybe that's what they're hunting. Wales can also be found by looking over the gunwale of a boat; they're those planks around the hull the waterline. [I bet someone thought I was going to mention fishies. |
| If I was a whaler, not that I would be, hunting whales just doesn't sit right with me, I would either completely ignore these guys, or use deadly force if I felt they endangered my ship in any way. If you don't like whale hunting, than protest in a safe manner, don't go around doing stupid shit putting PEOPLE at risk. |

Didn't you read the title? |

Butch of damn smelly hippies! I am a huge fan of the Sea Shepherds. They are anti-illegal whaling. The Japanese have skirted international whaling laws by slapping "RESEARCH" on the sides of their ships and pursuing whales in international waters only to sell what they take on the commercial fish market. |

i saw a video of green peace activists at sea and first they were sprayed w/ fire hoses and some fell out of the boat. but the boat in question was dumping nuclear waste at a specific spot in the ocean (they said it was tecnically legal but i still dont think its a good idea) and then the big boat started playing a game of drop the nuclear waste on the green peace people's inflatable boats. it actually looked like fun and one of the boats was hit on the bow and did a front flip. |
