I've never seen it. Hilarious. The Butt-Fuckers restaurant and the hospital sign that didnt fit had me rolling.. |
| Love that movie, I had a bunch of people over to my house a couple weeks ago to watch it. Everyone enjoyed and laughed alot and say the message and correlation with what is happening today; except my one liberal friend who said it was stupid and left, but she does that anytime someone doesnt agree with her politics, she loves using the typical liberal argument... "shut up." |

What most people don't get is that they point out the stupidity of the supposed "smart" people as well.
I don't care how smart you "think" you are, the behavior of the "smart" couple at the beginning of the movie was pretty damn stupid. If anything, the message was that there is no bad thing in being the "common man", so long as you don't let yourself be an idiot and also don't take yourself too seriously. Funny movie though, we seem to watch it every time a friend comes over who hasn't seen it, thusly, we've seen it now about 8 times so far this year, with a couple of those viewings being with a day or two of eachother. And yet I still like it. |

And yet I still like it. That's the whole paradox to this topic discussed in the movie. Why would the most intelligent and successful people in the world choose NOT to breed or choose to have only 1 or 2 kids? What does that say about a species when the most intelligent portion of that species chooses to no longer reproduce. |

I have been trying to convert her for a long time, but she will not listen to facts with proof of origination and well formed arguments. Instead she literally repeats everything she hears from the MSM and nothing else. |
