I have a bunch of digger wasps, ground bees or what ever they are called in my lawn. Has anyone had to deal with these before and how did you get rid of them?
Thanks dphill

if explosives are an option, explosives are the answer.
if not, fire. specifically diesel.

Had them once. Just got once of those wasp killing sprays that can spray from like 20 feet away.  That took care of it.

Kill it with fire!

Or those foaming wasp sprays.  I used that last year.

dad used to just use kerosene and and lighter. always worked, but likely not a very safe method, as it gets you within a few feet of soon to be pissed off bees, and is a fire hazard in dry parts of the contry (not much of an issue in MI where we lived though).

If you get really bored you can kill them individually with spray paint.

Fire is not an option...I like it to much . Sounds like some of you had luck with the foaming spray, I'll have to give that a try. My lab, not the shinnyest spoon in the drawer, was trying to catch them
