Sorry if this is a dupe...new to me:
The ARES Defense Systems Company is selling a Mag-Light flashlight that doubles as a SHOTGUN. A grenade-style pin removes the safety, and the flashlight fires a .410 shotgun round out the back when a button is pressed. A Mini-Mag size fires a .380 round.

Does anybody make .410 flare rounds? I'm thinking really hard for a purpose for this thing? I'd imagine it would make a good backpacking flashlight. .410 will easily get rid of rattle snakes. Assuming you could aim the damn thing. Not that this probably means anything but I have one of those Serbu Super Shorty 870s with the 6 1/2" barrel. It shoots way higher than you would think. I guess it is becuase of the short barrel. If you wanted to hit a man COM at five yards you should point it at his belt buckle. Assuming the same goes for this .410, it might actually be hard to hit a snake with it. A D-Cell maglite would be VERY heavy for backpacking. |
