FG 42 Nachbau der Fa. Dittrich - Kal. 8x57 - Halbautomatisch. Das Gewehr wurde zweimal geschossen. Bei diesem Gewehr ist ein 10-Schuss Magazin und ein 20-Schuss Magazin.

Copy of the FG 42 produced by Fa Dittrich = 8x57 caliber - semiauto. The gun has been fired twice. One 10 round and one twenty round magazine come with the gun.

Let me be the first to say the ergonomics of that pistol grip look painful at best.

I think it is cool that they are being made. The Sport-Systeme Dittrich ones aren't available in the US as far as I know (But Canadians can buy them with 10 round mags). There is a small US company that makes their own semi auto FG-42. But I wouldn't pay the 10K asking price: http://www.fg42.us/

I don't know, that might be very ergonomic for firing from the hip.

It was made to mirror the grip angle of the Kar98k.
