For raising your metabolism, increasing fat loss and getting in better aerobic shape, which is bette: low intensity distance jogging or hard sprinting for short distances?
What distances for each one? I figure both can assist a person but it seems one would be more beneficial |
| running intervals (sprint for a while then walk) really helps to condition your heart from what I've been told....though you want only do that once or twice a week, the rest of the time running for distance at a predetermined pace is good. I know I can run at 8min pace for 1.5mi before my shins start being a bitch and cause me to stop even though the rest of me wants to keep going |
