I'm beginning to lose interest. Seems like I can't find anything worth ignoring everything around me and wasting my life away getting on for hours on end. I never thought this would be possible. Occasionally I'll watch a bunch of movie trailers. I get on the Facebook and play Mafia Wars. Check email... jump on here to check subscriptions and then I just kind if look at the screen waiting for something amazing to catch my attention. Something that will keep me on and put me in a state of withdrawl if I'f not on it. Nothing. I'm not finding time to do stuff I would normally be able to put off until my wife has nagged me about to the point of doing it just to get it done and get back on the webs. It's insane. What am I missing? I get on Wikipedia and read up on a few things I wonder about during the day. Then nothing. What am I doing wrong? |

I used 'StumbleUpon'(FireFox extension that brings you to random sites) several years ago, but did not care for some of the content I was brought to. Regardless, some sites of interest were brought to light(i.e. photographic journeys into industrial ruins).
Currently, I find that the internet is an effective tool in researching a wide variety of topics that pertain to my interest. Google Scholar has become a new favorite of mine. PubMed, Medscape, and a vast multitude of online peer-reviewed journals make for some interesting reading. Beyond that, there's ARFCOM GD. |

Good thing.... I got so much done this weekend. Cut a few trees down and into logs (first time ever used a chainsaw) Chopped some wood Fixed a busted utility basin trap Moved a shed across the yard Trimmed the bottom of and put the bathroom door back on after having it re-tiled I might be missing something... oh... surfed ARFcom... |
