Just got a letter in the mail from the VA that contained the pamphlet below. I guess having/using weapons is included along with abusing drugs as a suicide indicator now. 
Man, earlier this week all vets were told we were to be looked at as suspected terrorists (especially if you owned guns & ammo), now the .gov is warning about putting yourself at risk for suicide if you have weapons. 
Note: Post is not to disparage or ignore the fact that some vets have suicide issues but geeze, the vast majority of us came out as "normal" as we were when we went in, and you can't help but think some libtard put "weapons" in there, in the context it's in, because of his/her anti-bias. |

I am telling you, someone needs to make up a flyer which details (in few words) the DHS report as well as the later comments referring specifically to veterans, and then distribute them at local VA hospitals around the country.
Get those sumbitches riled up and congress won't hear the end of it. |
I swear, the govt's opinion of their own soldiers is disgusting.

From almost six years of AD Army I learned pretty quick that the military treats its junior members like children. Dont know how many times I had my room searched for weapons and drugs. Doesnt surprise me to see a VA literature calling it suicidal. The military can give you rifles, machine guns, grenades and rocket launchers but heaven forbid a private or specialist had a 3.6" knife in their room.
