For all the car-guys here, the 2009 BJ Auction in West Palm started today (on now) and more importantly, Amy is looking particularly hot today.....and she's getting a lot of on-air time.
They'll be back on at 8:00pm tonight so I can get my evening Amy-fix. Why she ever married her dumpy, dufus husband Sparky Assiter is beyond me. |

Is this the "I've got more money" contest where people buy reproductions of rare classic cars at prices higher than the actual car would demand?
They have some nice looking cars, but they have somehow carved out a niche of rich guys that either don't care or don't know any better. I prefer the Mecum shows, though they are getting to be the same way. |

Actually, Thursdays and Fridays are pretty reasonable. A bunch of cars have sold today under $10,000 bucks including Corvettes, some 0001-VIN cars, 60's Mustangs and restoration paint-jobs that probably cost more than the selling price. The thing I like about BJ is that everything is sold with NO RESERVE, so the bidders set the prices.
Saturdays are usually reserved for the nut-job bidding. |
