Wanted to lighten the mood a bit, way too many threads making me angry today.
I am curious who here has named their kid after a song they liked, or was named after one their parents lliked? I was listening to Journey's Oh Sherry, and was curious how common it is to do that. |

My son was a foreign adoption (Dominican Republic). We got him at 6 days old so he knows nothing but this country. However his middle name is "Eagle" to remind him of this great nation.
As an added benefit in middle school he won all of those "guess my middle name" contests. |
