My 9yr old son came home from school yesterday and said a kid kick'd him in the balls so he put the kid in a choke hold and they both got sent to the principal's office. She said that my son was acting in self-defense and that it was ok,the other kid did not get into trouble either.Later in the day while in the restroom this kid peed all over my son's arm so he told on the kid and he was sent back to the principals office and his discipline was he could not use the urinals. That's not enough for me,what should I do?

Go find the father of this kid and pee on him.

I'd have a talk with the school and express your dissactisfaction with their response.  I agree, I'd say the peeing incident was a retaliation for him getting in trouble for the kicking incident.  By not being able to pee in the urinal does NOT teach him that it's not okay to retaliate.

Playing around and fighting...boys will be boys....peeing on someone, this kid's got a problem.

Tell the school next incident, you will have the kid arrested for assault.  They can take care of the problem, or you will, but this will stop.

That's modern times for you.....hell my son is 23 in a couple days and this type of thing happened. Other kid kept fucking with him and my son ignored it. Then the bell rings and the other kid hits him from behind. Son reacts with a fist to the face knocks other kid on ass. Both are suspended for three days. At parent meeting other kid's parent threatens to sue me and the school because it was "racial in tone" Principal tells the guy to settle down and pulls out a sheaf of paper detailing not only this incident but numerous other ones. Luckily that was the end of it since the parent put said kid in another school.

This kind of stuff is part of the learning experience of growing up.  That kid is just the first in a long line of assholes he'll have to deal with so he needs to learn how to deal with him.

Sometimes it's worth a few days of suspension to get your point across.

I would just give supportive words and let him deal with it his own way.

No kidding.  The way I was brought up, if I was in the right to defend myself and got suspended I would have been 100% in the clear at home.  Luckily when I was in school, both the time and the area wasn't into that zero tolerance bullshit.  All of my fights ended up with me going back to class, the other kid getting suspension.

OP, let the kid defend himself.  Let him know that he will NOT be in trouble at home for defending himself, and let him take care of it.  Sounds like he is more than willing to, if he got the kid in two headlocks.

Wow, that is disgusting. Is this a guys thing? Just the thought makes me cring and very angry. How in the hell do you get it in your head that it is even remotely ok to pee on someone? I would be embarrased if my kid pissed on someone. The fact that the school is allowing this to happen does not suprise me, they are so scared of law suits and don't care anymore, if you are able to invest in a private school. If not look into financial aid, most private schools have this avialable as well and will help pay for part of the tuition or all of it.

Reading is fundamental. "Happened" occurs in the past. If you couldn't figure that out I'll add ".....this kind of thing happened when he was nine".

No sense in getting pissy there skippy, I was asking a question. You sure mom will let you have a cookie? Its amazing how big a man you get behind a computer monitor.

No, it's fundamental, like I wrote. Spelling is fundamental also. Oh and it's "happened"

The OP was talking about "yesterday" . My post showed that it has taken place for many years now.

Obviously you had a problem with it. It's called "nit picking", looking for the slightest error in something and then jump on it (like I just did with your spelling errors).

I'm the same size IRL as I am on the net. I'm not the one assuming things "how big a man you get behind a computer" either. I would have no problem saying anything IRL and in the same tone.

I've gone through all that because my son is an outsider to this small hellhole called SW OK.  The thing is that the schools treats each participant as equals, and almost the perps as the victim (visualize the school as the UN).

Just plan on a worst case scenario and be prepared to break-out the big guns.  I'm going thru a non-school related case now where I'm applying the strong-arm tactics.  And a while back I to resort to the same tactic that removed the assailants: basically some other kids just couldn't contain themselves and eventually forced a confrontation.  I feel like a goof by having my kid hold back (in more than one case), but if he throws a punch he is out too.

Sorry to say, this seems to be a very common occurance and expect to see it again.

I don't want my son to fight to solve the problem at school , that's exactly what my first answer was whip his butt so I sent my kid to school today with strict orders to ignore this kid but if this kid touched him take care of the problem and we would back him .I want my kids to be respectful and have manners and fighting would not fix the problem it's bigger than that.I'm not raising sissy's around here by no means, his 15yr old brother is a Black Belt in Jeet Kune Do.We as parents should be able to solve the problem,we have a appointment Friday with the school.
