Hi here is the problem when trigger is pulled bullet dont go boom not all the time about every 3 to 5 rounds
if you reload the bullet that did'nt go boom and pull trigger bullet goes boom now this is'nt a mag or ammo problem AK will shoot every time same ammo lot its a problem with father in laws mini 30 ruger now gun was bought in 1991 shot it 1st time this week now it was clean and lube to spec gun is like new my ideal hammer spring is week from sitting for years please help my father in law would like to shoot his gun Thanks |

Field strip the bolt. Make sure it is good and clean inside and out. Clean the chamber. Make sure the bolt is going fully into battery. As mentioned above, check the condition of the firing pin. Also as mentioned above, replace the hammer spring.(cheap insurance)
