...all-wood furniture on an AR? I have yet to see such a thing, but I doubt I'm the first person to think of this idea.

Springfield used to sell a set many years ago, and I believe there's a guy who makes some in small numbers today.

Being mostly a wooden rifle guy, I like it but can't afford stuff like that any more.  Not a Fudd, have mostly WW2 and Cold War armaments.

There were some COLT ads from way back when that showed the AR15 with wood furniture; I liked it.  Classy.

There were also some other photos on the web, but I've lost track of them.

i saw a wood stocked AR-15 at the gunshow a couple weekends ago... i was like


but it was pretty clean and the stock wasn't tacky...it was just......wood



guy wanted something outlandish for it.
