So, a giant object in a stable earth orbit that reflects sunlight on to the earth at night? Would it look kinda like this? http://www.thelensflare.com/large/moonlight_230.jpg He said a GIANT mirror. That thing's not nearly big enough. |
| Then it would be impossible for me to escape from all of the man made crap and garbage I see everywhere. Imagine not being able to go outside and look at the stars. If they ever do anything like this forget about astronomy and spotting threatening asteriods. Maybe we will get lucky and one of those missed asteroids will teach us a lesson about respecting the natural order. |

Didn't they try that in a Bond film? Are you thinking of the orbital weapon made of diamonds? Or the space station used to house the beginning of the 'master race' during the planetary extermination of mankind? Either way, no, they never tried a mirror. You need to see some more Bond films.. They've made several since the 70's.. Yes, they did it in "Die Another Day". Rob |

Unfortunatley, the constant daylight made all the people in Alaska fucking nuts! Seriously, you ever dated a chick from Alaska? Holy crap.

I typically act as if it doesn't exist, kind of like Terminator 3. |
Don't be ridiculous...
