| Does anyone else live in an apartment where you can smell your neighbor's pot smoking(or something equally incriminating/funny)? Every single weekend, all weekend, marijuana seeping through my vents... I think it's more funny than a problem and I suppose it's nicer than stale air... Anyone? |
| We actually have neighbors that are known through the town to sell pot. We live in houses next to each other so we don't smell it, but you always know when they get a new shipment in because of the amount of "5 minute" visitors they have. It must not be a big deal for the city cops to do anything about it, I guess it helps the local economy?!?! |

The cops were there as much as anybody else. He never got busted. Thus my jaded view of LEO to this day. |

| my roomates in college used to get high in their rooms and i could smell it in the living room. i never tried it and i dont like the smell. i tried talking to them and told them about it and told them to go outside but they didnt give a shit. about a week later the RA was talking around outside and saw them doing it through the window. cops got called and they got busted. after that they went elsewhere to do it. |

I am a landlord and sometimes I have complaints like this. I could care less if they smoke pot in their home, but when I get neighbors telling me about it, I type a note saying what has happened and to please open a window or the next time the cops will be asking them to stop it.
Seems to work. |

I live in an apartment complex that is shaped like a horse shoe. All our doors open to the inside, and there is a gate that closes up the open end. It's a nice place.
But, if you are walking along side it, around the outside, year round, you can smell pot outside. It smells like fresh grown, not smoked pot. I'm 90% sure there is a grow operation somewhere near me. Not too sure what to do. I don't want to get raided because my neighbor grows. |
| note to the landlord. 2-hand smoke, 3d hand smoke, whatever - it's a health risk. To each their own, but it would bug me whether it was pot or cigarettes or cigars or Elk meat salmon or carpet they were smoking. If there are no complaints on the day to day, wait for the party weekends. |
