You may be able to sell some long guns to someone in GA or AL FTF, but no handguns.  Check with the state police, or even your hometown forum.  Most of them have links to your local state law.

So go FFL-FFL in order to be legal?I have a MT6400C I want to sell to a ban state purchaser who will be in my state.I don't want to screw up.Thanks.

It just has to go through an FFL, there's no legal requirement for FFL to FFL unless you're sending it to California, AFAIK.  Some FFL's will only receive firearms from another FFL, but that's a personal/business decision, not a legal one (except CA, above).  A resident of one state can not sell a firearm to a resident of another state directly, a licensed dealer must be involved.  If it's a handgun, it has to involve an FFL in the purchaser's state, long guns can be sold by an FFL to a resident of another state provided the laws of both states are followed.
