Ok, so here's the thing.

PURELY HYPOTHETICAL

Say I had a concealed weapons permit that allowed me to carry in GFSZs.

Say it was not the normal permit that most people get, but an older lesser known one.  LEGALLY, the weapon is OK, but it is presumably against school policy, yada yada.

Say I wanted to be a proponent of SCCC, but wanted to limit my involvement to online promotion (and, of course, individual discreet conversations) because if I was vocal about being pro-gun it would increase the likelihood of being made on campus.  The thinking is that if I were to keep quiet, I would probably make it all the way through school with no one the wiser.  If a school shooting ever happened in a room I was in, at least we would have a fighting chance.  Whereas if I were outspoken for the cause, I may end up expelled.

What would you do?  Risk it and be outspoken?  Shut up and promote SCCC from the sidelines?

So you can Legally carry on campus, but the it's against the school rules? Like VT for example?

Personally, if I were in that situation, I would carry and promote from the sidelines. This way, I'm not drawing attention to myself (like I am here at my school, now) and still able to protect myself.

I don't even know what you're asking.

SCCC does not condone carrying against the rules or law.

Ok, well nevermind.

Risking years at hard labor is one thing in my mind.

Risking disciplinary action is a whole nother ball game.

Actually, at this hypothetical college, the student code of conduct, while addressing weapons, does not clearly outline their prohibition other than as proscribed by law, BTW.
