Its such an awesome show my only complaint is that you have to suspend your disbelief in how all of this "situations" come his way and every one of them involves something spy skills can fix. One right after another is a little unbelievable. They are never afraid of getting caught by the cops when they shoot at people, burn buildings, torture people, etc. Also the fact that he has no job yet has armani suits and has money to fix his car all the time etc, when he turns down money from 9/10 of his "jobs". He calls them jobs but yet at the end he always refuses the money, wtf? (expect in that last one I guess)

I love that show..it's like a cooler version of the A-Team with a shot of MacGyver thrown in.

But yes...Fiona needs to make a few more trips the buffet...
2/12/2009 5:15:57 PM EDT
[#12]
Again, the point of the thread is LESS Fiona.

That little chicky snack that was trying to get her daddy's painting back was a quite tasty looking little treat.  The should show her more!

Cool show (it's great to live in Florida).  I don't have a TV but do have a lady friend that Tivo's it for me to watch when I visit.

some of his "spy tips" are a bit hollywood and probably should not betaken too seriously.

but i love the show for the entertainment value.

Agree. She was quite a bit better looking in scent of a woman.

Very entertaining show.

The more Carla, the better.

This thread was a lie.

There was no Carla
2/12/2009 9:10:33 PM EDT
[#19]
sigh

I'm trying to start a movement here, but the community intelligence level requires me to repeatedly refocus everyone on the chant.  "More Carla" is not a promise, it is a demand.  Fiona does not need to eat more.  We want LESS Fiona, more CARLA.

You know what, forget it.  Start your own revolutions.  I'm out of this one.

That is all.

I love that damn show. its the only thing on TV i really watch.

I think Fiona is hot, but her six pack intimidates me.

I really like Burn Notice a lot. Sure, it is SUPPOSED to be over-the-top. It's like James Bond –– not realistic, just very entertaining.

Edit to say: it is one of only two shows I actually make a point to watch, the other is House.

I love this show.

It's got me hooked like nothing in recent memory...  It's probably a combination of the guns, the women and Bruce Campbell.

Come one now.  Fiona is like the girls you liked to just hang out with.  One reviewer called her "The Heroic Psychopath" of the show.

Me likey both.

I like Fiona just how she is.

and the fact she can bring the pain with the best of them just makes her so much hotter.,

Dude,  a thread is like a child, you get to start it, but where it goes and when it ends up is not under your control.
Let it go.

When I first got cable back in the 80's I quit watching the series and sit coms and just watched history and outdoor stuff.
Then I noticed the Burn Notice posts and happened upon the channel. I'm hooked now. I loved Fiona when she was babysitting the kid and explaining all the weapons of his toy soldiers and then placing them around for the best fields of fire and effect.

Good show.  Of course you have to suspend some level of disbelief with TV and Hollywood, otherwise it wouldn't be that entertaining...  Unless American Idol is your thing.

If you want more Carla, watch Battlestar Galactica.

Fiona will play army men while babysitting your kids and teach them about fire support.

Love this show...I watch tv shows a season at a time.  I uhh snatch them and then just watch them straight thro so i haven't started this season yet.  Can't wait tho.

On a side note, i thought Touching Evil with Jeffery Donovan was a pretty decent show to. I hate that it only went one season.

I don't know if it was a rerun or not, but I was amused last night to watch a bank heist episode and the "bad guy" was none other than Badger from Firefly.  LOL.

I'm just waiting for the episode where they get into a cat fight.   You know it's coming.   When it does, it will mean lost space forever on my DVR as I am never going to erase that.

If you want to put on some weight...

It's good to remember what your acting contract stipulates...

A lot of people can get careless with sammiches, and then...  it's  goodbye.
[/narrative]

Bruce Cambell is the best one on the cast anyhow.
