If your in Brazil and using a compass should'nt it point to the south pole??

In other news - you will be correct when the poles switch around. But magnetic north is magnetic north. The south end of a magnet will ALWAYS point to the north. (N S-N S) not (N N-S S) ETA - the south end of a magnet is actually labeled NORTH on a compass. |
