I am so thankful my kids are out of the shithole public schools and the shithole private school we tried out.
My 10th grade neice came home the other day after being dogpiled by a bunch of shouting Obamunists - allowed by the teacher in her civics class. Teacher made some comparision to Obama as Jesus and said anyone who got in his way was "a whitewashed tomb full of dead mens bones". So my neice objected and expected a debate or discussion but instead got more of the same. She finally said she didn't like being made fun of or her religion mocked and got up to walk out. Thats when a couple of students got in her face and started that rapid fire shouting, filibustering dogpile crap on her. The teacher stood there and listened and, according to my neice, looked on approvingly like it was a class exercise. She pushed on past and went to the admn office, complained about it to the Asst. Principal and then checked out to go home. Bro in law has taken it to the Principal to see what is going on and get it resolved. Turns out the teacher is a substitute and there while the real teacher is out on maternity leave. They've had no other complaints they said - but my neice says there have been a couple of other comments made and some other intimidating things that have gone on prior to this. No one had said anything, until she felt like she needed to speak up. The Principal is straight up there according to them so we'll see what goes on. I am glad those school days are past. I got into it with one of my son's teachers his Junior year. Lost all respect for the Principal at his school. Weak spined. I hope their experience is more positive. |
