It's been 24+ hours for most of us. Do you like the new layout?

Hated it a first, but like anything else, the more familiar you get with it the better it becomes. We'll all adapt just fine. HH Pretty much the same feeling. In a week I won't remember what the old format looked like. As a matter of fact I can barely remember now!

Nice to see that they're continuing to work on upgrades. The look will help continue to attract non-arfs here.
There are some darned nice-looking message boards out there, so ar15.com needs to continue to work on staying competitive. It's all about eyeballs . . . |

The font sizes are all screwed up. Thread titles after you open a thread are tiny. On the main page usernames are tiny relative to the thread title size. The names under the thread titles have no flag, those to the right with the timestamp has a flag. lots of little odd stuff like that.
Hitting the reply button under someone's post brings you to a screen with that persons post to quote but doesn't do anything else different from going to the bottom of the page and hitting reply. I'd think it would tag the post you're replying to so that there's a reference link "in reply to ..." within your post that someone can click to go back to what you were replying to. |
