Let's hear your quick comebacks, either from the patient or the doctor.
My latest: I'd just had an EKG. My doctor explained the notations on the chart; one said something like "minor left displacement." She explained (She was cute, not hawt) that nothing was wrong, but my heart was just tilted a little to the left. I exclaimed, "Gosh, I've always thought of myself as a conservative!" |
| I was coming out of anesthesia post-surgery and one of the doctors said something about a tube in my throat, and how "it might hurt when it gets pulled out, but it will be over soon". I (apparently, because I dont remember it) said "I bet youve heard that one before". This was a guy doctor, but fortunately he thought it was funny enough to tell me about post-surgery, in front of my parents who were waiting to drive me home. My mom smacked me and said how rude I was. I dont even remember it haha |
