Is there a way to block particular people so that their posts don't show up on your screen when you are reading a thread ?

I know this is a feature on several other gun forums I frequent.

I can only imagine how much LESS drama there could be if people simply never saw certain others posts.

On the other hand, if you are taking the Internet that seriously, may be the problem isnt the website's functionality[>:/]

Well FWIW I have a bunch of channels blocked on my TV cable box. The ones that are in a language I don't understand. Before the lefties get all hot and bothered, I don't have anything against them BUT I am NEVER going to watch those channels and it slows down channel surfing when I have to wade through a dozen or so channels that I can't understand.

Same kind of thing applies here.
I have been on internet gun forums for quite a few years now. I know that there are certain people who offer nothing of value in my opinion. So, I don't want to waste my time reading anything they have to say.
I like the option of blocking them. Afterall, I get on these forums to spend leisure time enjoying myself. If something takes away from that enjoyment and there is something I can do about it, why wouldn't I ?
