It has started here in Ky. Rain started about 11 pm and is now turning to ice. My porch and driveway are slick as shit. Everyone be careful tomorrow. I am going to lay in my bathtub with an AK with a drum in it and hope for the best. Just kidding. Be safe, seriously.

Anyone else "getting hit"?

winter storm warning here - 8 to 15 of snow inches expected, already have had at least 6".

I've got 6 foot snow piles on both sides of my driveway and 3 feet all the way around my house . Quit complaining

They just upgraded the winter storm watch to a warning for Travis county.

This, plus the forecast is predicting up to another 12" of snow for me tomorrow.

My wife however is on the way to Kansas for a business trip so she may get to experience some of the ice.

We have 1/4" of ice on the tree limbs now. Still have freezing rain as of right now.
Live south of Lexington.
Hit the WM for fresh food yesterday....They had many last minute shoppers.

We got 1/4 inch down here in southern Indiana. The local "weathermen" predicted 5 to 10 inches, downed power lines. I think they do this just to bump up their ratings and increase grocery sales.

Just started to snow about 15minutes ago in Nicholasville. 33 degrees outside. Looks like an inch an hour at the rate of snow falling...

We got a few inches of snow yesterday, it turned to freezing rain just after dark last night, we got over a quarter inch of ice, I took the day off. I delt with snow, I dont do ice

I'm in south-west Indiana and we go 1/2" ice and 6-8" snow on top of that. Took me an hour and a half to get out of the driveway this morning (adding "buy 4x4 truck" to next years to-do list)

It's been snowing a little all day...we may have 4 inches on the ground but it is blowing like a bastage!!!...................supposed to be heavy snow tonight till about mid night then snow showers............................shit we have had worse storm that only lasted a few hours!!!
