Matt Damon, the actor, called Bill Kristol an "idiot" in an interview with the Miami Herald because Kristol said we should be grateful to George Bush for winning the Iraq war. (Why the Herald is interested in Damon's views on Iraq is a question I can't answer.) That triggered quick action by Andrew Breitbart of Big Hollywood. Andrew came up with $100,000 and got Kristol's consent to come to Hollywood to debate Damon on the war.

Andrew has now issued the challenge to Damon––debate Kristol publicly, and he (or a charity designated by him) will get $100,000. It will probably never happen, but the entertainment value could be enormous!

Matt Damon, much like his pole smoking buddy Ben Affleck, won't debate anyone as they're just as happy just to do driveby insults without talking about the issues. Kristol would own that down syndome looking asshole.

Very interesting. Matt Damon isn't "whicked smaart", he just acts like he is.

I just read this...you should read all the responses to article....I think at the time, almost all of the 500+ comments said that Damon would get owned by Kristol. Apparently Damon is also a Harvard drop out....go figure...

I would be surprised if he agrees, but he may.

It will only give him negative publicity to a huge audience that watches his movies.
