Definitely not a good idea. One of our members decided to spam a thread in General Discussion that maxed out / no longer accepted responses (50 or 100 page limit reached). He racked up six thousand posts in a day. He will no longer do that in this forum as his ability to post was permanently removed.
Please don't spam discussion threads. If you're that bored, go clean your guns, count your ammo or build a fort. Brought to you by the:
