Quoted:
This may be playing semantics a bit, but according to Article II, Section 1 and Clause 8 of the Constitution the oath was not said correctly. Granted, Roberts screwed it up and then corrected himself but BHO repeated it incorrectly. ![]() I knew if I read enough posts today somebody would be stupid enough to mention this. |

Quoted: He could have repeated everything that was said to him in ebonics and he would still have the job. The swearing in is just a formality. Fuck I am feeling screwed. He better not start his gun control shit. After that pre inaguration bullshit a swearing in done in ebonics would have fit in perfectly. You guys realize that Obongo opposed and voted against Justice Roberts' confimation, don't you? This afternoon was the first time in U.S. history where a president was sworn in (or not) by a Chief Justice he opposed. Interesting Maybe on the 23rd they will look at a birth certificate but I doubt it |

Granted, Roberts screwed it up and then corrected himself but BHO repeated it incorrectly. ![]() ETA: Obviously you guys haven't read/paid attention to some of my subsequent posts. It is A JOKE. Boy, The general discussion crowd must take everything literally. I heard someone mention this earlier in the day... thought it was interesting but otherwise useless. I thought I would pass it along for the amusement of others but apparently the typed word doesn't translate sarcasm well. And don't take it too personally. A couple threads from now someone will make the same semantical argument about a different subject, and they'll jump on anybody that doesn't agree. |
