The local Walmarts have a sign at the gun counter stating they cannot/will not ship to residents from certain states. I think Alabama and California are some of them... does anyone know anything about this? I tried calling them and got put on hold for 15 minutes and then hung up on...

So it might not be a good starting state, But other states may have unique laws. I am not 100% familiar with Alabama, but I would bet that it has something to do with state laws... |

As far as your question goes, I think Walmart means they don't do FFL transfers. As for why, I worked for Walmart for 5 months & 24 days. I can honestly say logic, reasoning, etc, do not go together with Walmart management.
