Go to a library and find The Economist for Jan 3-9 this year, page 42.
Short version: one part of the government (Home Office) published some stats, not long afterwards another part of the government slapped them down. There's every reason to be suspicious of stats that make politicians look good, no matter what country you're looking at. They lie about damn near everything else, why would liberal shitholes of corruption record and report their criminal activity accurately? |
