i have a wilson cqb, nighthawk 10-8 and a nh talon on layaway. with the worry of not being able to buy military pattern rifles anymore in the near future i'm thinking i want to get one more black rifle to add to my 3 ar15's. a .308 battle rifle. i can't afford another rifle so i was thinking of trading my wilson for one , thinking i'll always be able to replace a 1911 and i will already have 2 great 1911s and a glock 19.
talk me into or out of this.

It seems to me like a reasonable course of action. Make the trade.  I will add though, that an M1 Garand chambered in 308/7.62 makes a fine battle rifle. So keep that in mind when making a choice. Garands aren't on any "hit" list that I know of.

need more responses. should it be the wilson(i'll have 2 more 1911s left) or one of the ar15's(i'll have 2 more left) or the g19 and a couple semicustom knives ? i really want an mbr and can't afford one. or should i keep everything i have and just pout about not having a .308 battle rifle?
