I bought my house about a year ago and the previous owner had all new windows put in about 2 years ago.  The windows are Pella brand and they look really nice.  The only issue i've found with them so far is that they bleed cold air around the tracks and at the bottom.  The the temp pretty low tonight it is making the house rather cold.  Do you guys think adding storm windows would help?  Any other suggestions are welcome as well.

I have Pella windows as well, Low-E Argon filled.  I also get the bottom 1/4 inch of moisture on cold days, but I do not know if this is normal.  They do have the 20 year warranty.   hummm could be an issue. I do not have storm windows either.

There's always duck tape

I wonder about the actual installation.  I know a guy who went from single pane windows and storm windows to new double paned windows and his heat bill got worse.  He feels a draft around the windows, and he feels they were not installed properly, i.e. sealed well.

I looked at some DIY forums and some mentioned a temporary caulk you could put around the seams and its "supposed" to just easily peel off when you're ready to remove it.  I thought about checking it out, i'm a little weary of it though.

The home inspector said they were installed as they should.  I don't know what he did to verify that though,
