Over New Years' holiday, some friends gave me a Rival Automatic Steamer.
Tonight was my first try with it. Turnip greens, green beans, and some rice. It all came out quite well and I am gonna have read the manual completely to see how creative I can get. Any of you guys use one regularly and are there some interesting recipes to be done using a steamer? |

Potato halves 30-35 min
Green beans and asparagus 12 min exactly Rice 35 min I like it. Simple and easy. Sometimes I have to set a 2nd timer if I want to cook 2 things at once (i.e. potatoes and green beans) and throw the short-time item on top at the appropriate time. |
