My question is why in the hell you don't see torch cut weapons parts on there anymore? You can find demilled US government marked uppers and even demilled M9s occasionally.

No good quality firearm should go through that.

Even if the barrel was shot out and the grips cracked, there would still be some useful parts to give other pistols a new life.
