Hey all, looking to buy a toy ar from toyarsenal.com for my young son. They look very realistic and they also state that they are used as movie props. I even think they are airsoft which I dont care about. Anyone own one? are they cheap, I mean 22.00 is pretty inexpensive.

There was a "rubber duck" on the EE not long ago.

Just get him an airsoft  M-16. The controls will be more realistic and he can learn gun safety and marksmanship at the same time. When he's older, upgrade to a .22 rifle, then a 5.56mm.

And for $22, you're not getting jack shit.

A rubber duck is a solid replica that the .mil uses for training.

Rubber ducks are also carried by some color guards for events that are off base.  No need to have working guns that are carried without ammunition stolen at gunpoint by  naughty robbers.
