Personally, I support my furry neighbors. Why just this morning I poured out an entire jar of peanuts onto the deck for them to enjoy. I also have squirrel-friendly bird feeders.
Tell me how you feel. Poll Incoming. |

Considering I have a couple that have decided to live in my attic, front sight, press! See, I could see myself getting upset at them tearing up my attic, but they can be persuaded to stay away with other means. Squirrels are good for the ambience of the yard anyways. |

Tell me how you feel. Poll Incoming. I think they are adorable. My dad in FL has squirrels that will take peanuts right out of your hand. It is so cute. When my memaw and pepaw lived at that house the squirrels would even run in the door to take a peanut out of my memaws hand. It seemed as if the adult squirrels let the babies know it was okay to do and for the last 12 years squirrels have been hand fed peanuts in that yard. |

My year-old cat took an adult grey squirrel in summer '07. She and her kittens have been ridding the neighborhood of greys ever since (some of them end up in our house as gifts). We have received many thanks from our neighbors.
Our cats have taken more squirrels than I have. Better eyesight, I guess... Live Free or Die! |

They're cute and cool to watch . But also tasty when pan fried.
