its been a few years since i bought any PS2 games, im really only interested in WW2 games, but korean / iraq war games would work too- IF they have decent controls and are fairly easy.

i have games like medal of honor: "frontline" and "european assault", Call of duty: "finest hour" "big red one" and Call of Duty "3"

those types of games.  i like them because there isnt anything extremely difficult, you can just play them without having to think too hard.

do they still make PS2 games or would i be forced to spend money on a new station to get new games?

sorry im gamer ignorant and dont really care to keep up to date / spend hundreds of bucks

If you don't have an HDTV, you will soon enough. That being said, get a PS3. You'll definitely use the blueray player feature when you get your TV. Definitely worth it IMO

For a change of pace, you might want to give this one a try, Mafia
It's a pretty simple/straightforward game, but enjoyable.
You should have no problem finding it cheap.

Black is a straight up shooter.

They still have PS2 games at Best Buys or on Amazon.com. Cheap too.

Another recommendation for Black, my all-time favorite game.

Pawn shops are a good place to look.

Guns and video game systems seem to be the first things pawned off.

They're gonna be making PS2 games for a long time still.  It's only the most popular console ever with more being sold every day.  They still made PS1 games until about 2004 or so.  When they start selling PS3s for $99, I'll buy one.  Until then, I can wait.

Desert Storm 2: Back to Baghdad is my favorite because two people can play it in coop.
