Have you manually copied and pasted your music over to the new computer, and instructed itunes to find it?

Nope. Prevents people from sharing music illegally. Gotta transfer it manually from the old PC.

Yup. Also... it's obviously too late now, but you should always "deauthorize" your PC when you ditch it. Otherwise, you'll eventually wind up using up your 5 accounts and have to re register and lose all access to purchaesd music.

cool thanks for the heads up. i tired that program and it worked well but only worked on the first 100 songs. you have to pay for the service after that.

ipod copy works well as well and is around 20$. Better than loading all them music onto the new pc manually, especially if you have a ton of music (10g)

I couldn't do anything with my new iTouch when I bought it. I had to download the latest update to iTunes to get it to function. And now all is well.

So have you updated iTunes lately?

Music Rescue (google it) is free and works great, you have to click a button asking you to buy it a few times during the copy process.

I used senuti on my pc, I had to pay 14.99 or something, but it worked like a champ. The free version will only do like 5 songs.
