I got this in an e-mail......
Is this what we can expect for our future? Chicago, a typical Democratic town: Chicago .... Who Runs it? Senators: Barack Obama & Dick Durbin Representative: Jesse Jackson, Jr. Illinois Governor: Rod Blogojevich (arrested today) Illinois House leader: Mike Madigan Illinois Attorney General: Lisa Madigan (daughter of Mike) Chicago Mayor: Richard M. Daley (son of Mayor Richard J. Daley) The leadership in Illinois? .....all Democrats. Thank you for the combat zone in Chicago . Body count in the last six months: 292 killed (murdered) in Chicago 221 killed in Iraq State pension fund - $44 Billion in debt, worst in the country. Cook County ( Chicago ) sales tax - 10.25% highest in country. (Look it up). Chicago school system - rated one of the worst in the country. Of course, they're all blaming each other. They can't blame Republicans because there aren't any. This is the political culture that Obama comes from in Illinois . And he's going to '"fix" Washington politics for us? Good luck and may God help us. Probably be the only help we can expect. Aloha, Mark |

GW Bush –– president Dick Cheney ––VP Endless war in Iraq. Economic meltdown Largest deficits in US history. Weak dollar Mass unemployment Distraction from Afghanistan. Diplomatic isolation No energy policy Leaky border. Invasions of civil liberties It's a race to the bottom. |

As for Iraq(that now has less violence than mexico) how is it anymore endless than the US bases in Germany, Japan, korea, or Kuwait? The econ melt down started back in the Clinton years when the dems took away the regulation on loans b/c it was "fair". |

And those countries aren't filled with people willing to die to eject us. Energy policy? Bush-Cheney-Halliburton policy is drill and import. More crack for the addict. |

What is your solution for oil then genius? Your friends in congress stop any atempt at nuclear plants to make electric cars or hydrogen fuel realistic. Every country we have gone into has been filled with "people willing to die to eject us". Your post reaks of Troll. |

I have no friends in Congress. None. What we needed after 9-11 was leadership. We needed a President to stand up and say, "We are going to have a Manhattan project to put everyone in an electric car within five years. We are going to wean ourselves off oil, which is supplied to us by our religious and cultural enemies, once and for all." Instead we got the Patriot Act and the adventure of installing town-hall democracy on the banks of the Tigris, which appears to have no end. |
| Now that this thread is back on track, you're absolutely right. Obama's picking people who don't even rate as second string. I can't get over his choice for secretary of education, Chicago students boycatted their fucked up schools this year. Obama fooled everyone, he's not Democrat, Republican, or Libertarian, he's a FISH (Fucking Illinois Shit Head). That's the reason nobody knows what to make of him. |

Wait you actually believe that Bush caused the weak economy, the weak dollar and unemployment? So it wasn't the fact that over the past 100 years we just dropped out of manufacturing because labor unions pushed for overcompensation? It wasnt because we really dont have or sell alot of natural resources? The only thing we have is technology.. but wait, everything we do now seems to be more on the software side of things which you cant really keep from being stolen... its not like hardware. But yea in 8 years he ruing the economy ... it wasnt all the big things.. one man toppled the US... Come the fuck on |

, that's the past (Olbermanofiles talk about Halliburton). Instead of a lifepreserver we've been handed a lead weight.
