This is 2nd. box in a row that has stopped working this year. It just won't get the signal anymore or a VERY choppy blurry one at best. Anyone else with Comcast (even better in CA) been having problems with their boxes?

My cable has been shaky lately. Like the picture jumps a little bit

Have you had someone out to check all the lines and signal to the outlet?  If the box is having power issues I would guess the box it the culprit.  If the pictures are tiling or screen going blank or if the audio is chopy 10 times out of 10 is is the signal getting to the box that is the problem have a technician out to look at it.

That being said I know of some sthat are on their 6 DVR in a year but others that have had the same DVR for 2 years without issues.   It is luck of the draw and how well their warehouse actually checks issues with equipment prior to issue to their techs.

The first "new" box I got this year(#2 overall) was recycled from another customer. Ya it lasted about a week.
