Why is there a "car czar" when it is only SOME of the car companies that need help and cannot compete? It's not like the whole "car" industry is in trouble.
Why wasn't there a "Steel czar" when the steel industry was failing Or a "garment czar" when all the clothing manufacturing was going overseas. Why isn't there a "service industry czar" with all the offshoring of call centers, tech support, etc. 
Let's do all of that!!!! Opening the door to his is SUCH a bad idea. This kind of pandering and waste of taxpayer money pisses me off.

This will go as follows:
Car Czar: "Global warming is coming and we can no longer have SUVs" Result SUVs gone from the Big Three. This is not a loan or a buy in or a buy out or anything. It is pure government takeover of private industry and nothing good will come of it (whether it takes a day or 10 years to show). |
